Julien leads the organization’s construction planning efforts with practical applications and innovative technology.

Having worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, Julien is responsible for managing all project-related reality capture and virtual construction (VC) activities. VC involves 3D coordination and modeling of all mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP/FP) systems including fire protection; and coordinating 3D elements against each other, architectural design programs and structures.

Julien is responsible for all Building Info Modeling (BIM)-related activities across the organization and collaborates with DAVIS project teams to execute VC plans. Along with his a 30+ member VC team, Julien supports the entire organization by implementing software, hardware, testing, and research + development initiatives.

Julien has always had a passion for construction and traveling. Growing up in a family of hardworking, hands-on tradesmen, Julien put his career on hold after graduation to help his father start his own custom ironwork business. Nowadays, Julien enjoys sharing his knowledge with peers, traveling with his family, indulging in sushi and ceviche, and restoring his 1963 Volkswagen Beetle - a 'rat-rod' named 'Ole Miss'.
