Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) SFL1 + SFL3 Laboratories

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) uses highly technical Specialized Forensics Laboratories (SFLs) to provide the resources needed to collect, analyze, and disseminate drug-related intelligence in order to enforce the laws and regulations of the United States surrounding controlled substances. This project consisted of building out two separate labs, SFL1 and SFL3. SFL1 is an addition to the base building at this location that allows the DEA to investigate where drugs are made--there are only two of these facilities in the entire country! Additionally, SFL3 was an office-to-laboratory conversion project designed as a drug seizure processing facility. Our team adhered to the strict regulations surrounding these build-outs in order to give the DEA the most efficient and functional facility possible.
