Not Your Average Internship

This past summer, we welcomed 28 students representing 10 different universities to their DAVIS internship.

From day one, our interns are considered part of the DAVIS family and truly become a part of the team. They experience all aspects of construction, through a variety of project types, at different stages of completion. From base building, renovation and residential projects, to interior and specialty build-outs, our interns learn the skills required to build environments and careers successfully.

We ensure that our interns are fully immersed in the DAVIS and local DC culture, and the 2016 class was no exception. Throughout the 12-week internship, in addition to working full-time, we provided a jam-packed social calendar that enabled our interns to connect outside of the office. They engaged in several events, friendly competitions, honed their networking skills with senior leadership, and took part in community outreach with nonprofit organizations like JDRF and Twinbrook Partnership.
