80 M Street SE Expansion Wins 2023 CPE Influence Award
80 M Street, the very first mass timber office overbuild project in Washington, DC, has been given the Silver-level Best Design: Office Award in Commercial Property Executive's Influence Awards! The Influence Awards honor the year’s most notable developments, deals, transactions and people.
This project was a collaboration between DAVIS, Hickok Cole, Arup, and Columbia Property Trust. The build includes more than 1,300 tons of mass timber sustainably harvested from Pacific Northwest and Eastern Canada forests for its 100,000-plus-square-foot vertical expansion. We also added two floors of trophy-class office space and a penthouse level that features additional office and shared amenity space.
