In the heart of Washington, DC's Central Business District, 1145 19th Street NW is an eight-story Class A medical office property within close proximity to four major hospitals. Our team performed a complete building upgrade that included a renovation of the entire lobby that hosts a guest lounge and garage waiting area, as well as an addition of a new conference center! The renovation also included upgrades to the Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing systems and improvements to the facade—with sustainability in mind, we installed a new energy-efficient window system that replaced the ribbon windows on the rear of the building. Close coordination was required throughout the entire renovation due to the medical offices being fully occupied, and with careful planning and communication, our team modernized the building's elevator systems and even added stops that link to the new fitness and conference center.
