DAVIS Holds Environmental Health + Safety Symposium

This month, DAVIS held the annual Environmental Health + Safety (EHS) Symposium in our Rockville headquarters, bringing DAVIS employees and valued trade partners together to discuss how we can enhance safety practices across our projects.

Several sessions were held on safety topics, including the importance of standards, the critical role of education, and fostering a strong EHS culture through onboarding and mentoring programs. These discussions emphasized the need to continuous collaboration and learning to ensure long-term success in safety management. The annual symposium is a great opportunity for EHS professionals to share insights, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. By continuously improving our processes, we can ensure safety remains a top priority on all projects.

We also recognized outstanding commitment to EHS by two fantastic trade partners--Mark Zimmerman of Power Design and Diego Gonzalez of Rock Spring Contracting. These two consistently set great examples of how to be safe on project sites, and we are so grateful for their dedication.
