Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine

Meritus Health and Salud Education partnered to bring the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine to Meritus' campus in Hagerstown.  

DAVIS was selected during the preconstruction phase based on the value we brought to the project and the services we provided. Understanding their goals for the project, DAVIS was able to work with the team on cost savings solutions that kept the design and program for the building intact.    

The new five-story steel-framed building will include a curtainwall, stone, insulated metal panels, and composite metal panel facade. The two-story ground-floor reception will feature a poured terrazzo floor and a communication stair connecting to the second floor's classroom and student support areas. A ground-floor conference center, full-service kitchen, service, and indoor and outdoor dining areas will offer the building's occupant amenity space.  

A skills lab, fitness center, medical clinic, administration, and staffing area will be constructed on the upper floors, as well as shell space, to support the future expansion of the School of Osteopathic Medicine and its programs.
